Commercial Video Systems

Video Surveillance, Designed From Your Floor Plan

Trinity designs, installs, and configures camera systems for commercial, public, and residential properties in the greater Jacksonville area — from the first drawing to handoff.

Local or cloud recording, AI search, license plate recognition, and cameras that see in color at night.

Camera types

The right camera for each view

360° panoramic

One camera covers a full lobby, intersection, or parking court with no blind corners.

180° wide view

Wall-mounted coverage of long storefronts, building faces, and loading areas.

Wide-angle fixed

Clear general coverage for entrances, hallways, and offices.

Motorized zoom

Varifocal lenses tuned on site so faces and plates fill the frame at distance.

Thermal & long-range PTZ

Pan-tilt-zoom and thermal options for large perimeters and open yards.

Solar & cellular

Cameras for lots, gates, and construction sites without power or cable.

Mounting & options

Pole mounts, 12–16 ft

Freestanding poles for parking lots, gates, and perimeters.

Ceiling, wall & drop-down mounts

Drop-down poles sized to the ceiling height and the view needed.

Junction boxes

Wiring stays hidden and protected behind every camera.

Built-in microphone

Audio where it is useful and allowed — or audio-free models where it is not.

White-light LEDs

Cameras that light the scene at night to record in full color instead of black and white.

From the floor plan to a working system

Trinity can take a project from the start: CAD layouts, camera and device placement, cable runs to the nearest IDF/MDF, installation, programming, and handoff to your team.

We also work as the installation subcontractor for equipment vendors and integrators, so the same crew handles turnkey projects and partner installs.

Local recording, cloud recording, or both

Most sites record locally on an NVR at the facility. Where it fits, video goes to a cloud platform instead, or to both.

Cameras with an SD card keep recording if the internet drops, then upload the footage to the cloud once the connection is restored.

Health alerts and AI monitoring notify you when a camera or recorder stops working, instead of discovering it after an incident.

AI analytics and license plate recognition

Most current recorders and cloud platforms include AI search and people/vehicle detection, so finding an event takes seconds instead of hours of playback.

License plate recognition can be programmed to open a gate for known vehicles or notify security about unknown ones. See gates and entry automation.

One view of every location

Watch live video and playback from a phone app or VMS software, across one building or many sites, on a single platform.

Upgrading old analog systems

If the budget is tight, existing Siamese coax can be reused to install 4K TVI cameras without pulling new cable.

When you are ready for more, IP systems add AI features: we run fiber between buildings, install a PoE switch in each one, connect the local cameras, and bring everything onto one platform. See fiber optics.

Questions

Questions about video surveillance

Can you design the camera layout for us?

Yes. Trinity can work from your floor plan or CAD drawings, place cameras and other devices, and plan cable runs to the nearest network closet before installation.

What happens to recording if the internet goes down?

Local NVR recording continues on site. Cloud cameras with SD cards keep recording and upload the footage when the connection returns.

Can cameras record in color at night?

Yes. Cameras with built-in white-light LEDs illuminate the scene so night footage stays in color.

Do we have to replace our old coax cabling?

Not necessarily. Existing Siamese coax can often support 4K TVI cameras. An IP upgrade adds AI features when the budget allows.

Which brands are suitable for government or federally funded projects?

Hikvision and Dahua are restricted on federally funded projects under NDAA Section 889. For those sites we specify compliant brands such as Axis, Hanwha Vision, Avigilon, or Verkada.
