Video Systems for Sports Facilities

Type of work: Installation of video systems at four sports facilities.

Sports video systems record games and practices so coaches and players can review them. The cameras sit high above a field or court, often far from the building, and each one needs power and a reliable network connection.

Trinity handles these jobs from the layout to service: conduit and cable, including underground runs, outdoor enclosures, camera mounting, the network, system setup and later service.

At IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, Trinity installed Spiideo camera systems for the soccer and lacrosse fields.

Outdoor enclosures went up on posts along the field fences, with conduit and cable to each camera position, so every camera has power and a network connection.

At LakePoint Sports, an indoor complex with basketball courts, Trinity mounted Playsight cameras under the roof trusses above the courts, working from a lift.

Dome security cameras cover the walls, bleachers and doors, and the network equipment sits in an enclosure with battery backup.

At the BallenIsles Country Club tennis center, Trinity installed the Playsight SmartCourt system: cameras on the court fences and poles, outdoor enclosures with network and power, wireless links and courtside kiosks.

Before handoff, the team tested the internet connection and the camera view on every court and completed the commissioning checklist.

At the Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club tennis and pickleball center, Trinity ran cable in conduit along the court fences, mounted Playsight cameras and installed a wall rack with a network switch.

Each camera was checked on the network before the system went live.
